Cheddar Grits

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
2/3 cup quick grits
4 oz ( about 1 cup ) grated cheddar
 

Bring milk, salt and garlic powder just to a boil over high heat. Reduce to low and whisk in the grits. Once grits are thickened whisk in cheddar until melted.
